Overview

Fish at Otaru Port, a popular site for sea fishing in Hokkaido. Catch surf smelts and sardines. After getting the hang of sea fishing, try surf casting and you could catch some flounder.
Lunch at Naruto, a restaurant that serves fried half-chicken, a specialty of Otaru. You'll find the succulent chicken scrumptious.
After satisfying your appetite and having a good rest, proceed a bit westward to Shioya Beach.
There you'll sea kayak to the beautiful Blue Grotto, a unique site. Take a break at a desolate spot.
You'll practice offshore before kayaking to the site, so even a beginner can be confident of having fun.
On this tour, feel the water and enjoy the sea at Otaru.

7:00	Meet at the north exit of JR Sapporo Station. Have a briefing.
7:15	Depart.
8:15	Arrive at Otaru Port.
	Sea fishing (surf casting & pier fishing)
11:00	Finish fishing and go to the next site.
11:15	Lunch in Otaru at the celebrated Naruto. Soft-serve ice cream break
12:15	Finish the lunch break and go to the next site.
12:45	Arrive at Blue Holic. Prepare for kayaking.

★Notes

Fishing gear (rods, bait) is provided.
For kayaking, wear clothes that you don't mind getting wet and that let you move easily. Bring a change of clothes. Sandals and life jackets are provided.
Brimmed hats (sun hats) are useful for kayaking.
